I didn't realize that Allie's Birthday was on Super Bowl Sunday until after I sent out invites, but it worked out great to combine the two! (the dad's didn't have to suffer through a birthday party! :O)
My parents got her a basketball hoop (she LOVES basketball), so she opened it up right away and they got to play with it. Tony and Kaitlyn were ready to play too :O)
Amanda was in charge of putting it together and Allie waited patiently for it!
Sunday was absolutely gorgeous weather! We had freezing weather (literally) for several days before and afterwards, but it was 68 and warm on her b-day! perfect!
We had two Savannah's (pictured), two Kennedy's and two Kaitlyn's at the party!
Bonnie and her girls
Robyn, Lindsay and Jillian
A little football watching...
She's not so sure about everyone playing with her toys!
Julia and Allie
My mom did a great job making a "pin the nose on Elmo" game and the kids had a great time (Kaitlyn)
Allie and Savannah
The Slate girls playing another game with my mom.
Allie LOVED having everyone sing to her and she just kept smiling the whole time!
YEAH!
We had friends come from all parts of Houston- all the way from Spring and from Richmond! Thank you for driving in to celebrate with us!
Yummy cake for the kids and peanut butter pie for the adults!
Allie and Julia playing with her new Elmo Play Doh set
Can you tell the theme was Elmo?!!! Thank you everyone for coming and making Allie's day special! We had so much fun and I know Allie loved having her friends over and all the attention! Thank you also to my parents and Jon for all their help in getting it ready and running errands for me and for cleaning up afterwards! It was so nice to have a clean kitchen when it was done!
