1 Month left!!

It's hard to believe that I am already hitting the ninth month mark! In two more days I will officially have only 4 more weeks to go. And if she comes early, it may only be a couple of weeks! Crazy to think about how different life is about to become- forever!

Notice in the picture my little shadow. I am not sure how little Raymond is going to adjust to not being the "baby" in the house anymore. He follows me EVERYWHERE and is used to getting a lot of attention. It's going to be a rude awaking for him!

Please be praying for us as we prepare for the final days ahead and for Baby to be healthy and a smooth, easy, natural childbirth!

Baby shower

Thank you to everyone who made my baby shower so special! It was so fun to see friends and family from out of town and those that I don't get to see very often! Baby definitely got some really cute things and we are very appreciative of all the gifts! Who knew you needed so much to have a baby these days?! One disadvantage to being the one having the shower is that you really don't get to hang out with everyone and really talk to them! :o(

Amazingly, I have only 5 more weeks to go, and I must admit that today was very hormonal- hope this doesn't continue for too long!

Preparing for baby! Haha!!

Here is what I did this weekend... tried to figure out how to use the sling (needed a test subject just to make sure-Raymond did great!), enjoyed the really WARM day on Saturday and decided to give my belly a little color (notice the ice cream...), and finished it off by propping my legs up and watching TV. All in all I think I got a lot accomplished! With about 1 1/2 months left the countdown has begun! Not to mention the hormones raging and legs killing after just a short time of standing! I will be excited when baby comes, but I will also be excited to be able to actually bend over again! :O)

"Marley and Me"... or is it Ralph and Me?

Happy New Year! It is now 2009- a year of a lot of big changes up ahead! We started the New Year off by joining the thousands of other people yesterday who went to the movie theatre to pay the ridiculous price of $9.50 per ticket, not to mention the $5 or so to park and the small popcorn and small drink which was over $10! But that is of course beside the point...

We saw a GREAT movie called Marley and Me which was actually based on a book on the NY times best seller list for a long time. It is both hysterical and very touching, and definitely worth going to see! But, my point in writing this blog is that after we went to watch a movie about a dog who was extremely mischievous, we came home to find our own "Marley"! We didn't need to spend the $20 to see what a dog can do because our own Ralph has become very bad himself lately.

Last night we had accidentally left our bedroom door open and Ralph had gotten into my bag of new contacts, pulled toilet paper off the roll ,(he likes to eat it now) and had made himself quite cozy on our pillows on the bed!

Add this to the horrible scratch marks he has made all over our new coffee table, the countless rolls of toilet paper he has eaten half of, and the fact that he won't go to the bathroom unless we take him on a walk!

Most of you know we have two dogs, and although Raymond is perfect when we are gone (he has no choice as he is in his "home"), he decided last night that he was going to join in on the fun and decided to go poop on our bathroom floor!

So add to the mix a little baby in a couple of weeks and I can only imagine how these boys of ours are going to react and what fun we will have over the years just like in "Marley and Me!"

I just pray that our dog raising abilities are no reflection of how we will do with kids!!! :O)
