Allie turns FOUR!!!!

February 6, 2009 Allie Keegan  was born and now she is turning 4!  The years with her have been filled with so much joy and fun!  There have been challenges too, but she has the sweetest spirit and wants to please!  She has been looking forward to her birthday for many weeks and was trying to understand the difference in her birth day and her birthday party day!    On her actual birthday, she had school so she got to celebrate with her friends and I brought in cookies for them.

This is her pinkalicious shirt and of course her cowboy boots with a tutu!  Perfect birthday outfit!
outside her classroom
We met my mom for lunch at Luby's since it was a half day at school.
I now know why it is so hard for my friends with more than one kid to get a good family picture...
She sure does love her little brother!  And he loves to watch her!
A couple days later on Saturday, we had her birthday party.  This is not a good picture of me but oh well!
Grandma and Allie
Everything was pink for her Pinkalicious gymnastics party!
I made the cupcakes and although I was tempted to make them vegan- Jon told me not to!  :O)  I did not even eat one because of the dairy, but I am sure they were yummy!

We invited her school friends, friends from church (her closest friends) and our neighbors.  Originally, it was all girls but since she was not going to her other class on Monday and Fridays anymore, we invited Corbin her buddy from that class! And then Blake got to come with his sisters!
Doing their stretches

They did a great job and getting them all involved and making it fun for them.  They got to do a bunch of circuits and they all enjoyed it!
The party room is up above so parents could watch from up there.
Meagan and Allie- her best little friend
Getting ready to do the "PopCorn"!!!
This was hysterical to watch!   and she LOVED it!

Look at that smile!
Lindsey and Allie
So fun!

Big parachute time
And I tried to get a good group photo...

After doing gymnastics they came upstairs to have pizza and cupcakes
"Happy Birthday!!!!"

She always licks all the frosting off first then eats the cupcake
Nana, Pops and Jon!  My dad was there too but he graciously offered to watch Kyle who was sleeping in his carseat the whole time in the back room!
We had a big party this year for her because she had been through so much the past 7 months with moving and me being on bed rest and then Kyle being born.  Plus, I was not ready to have a party at the house with Kyle being so young.  I seriously doubt we will do one like this again anytime soon, but it sure was fun for her!
And as Jon always tells Allie, "Thank you for being my little girl; Allie Keegan!" We love you and are so thankful that God chose us to be your parents!  My prayer for you this upcoming year is that you will continue to learn about God and how much He loves you and how much we love you too!  Also that we would be the best parents that we can be for you to nurture you and help you grow up to love God and treat others with kindness!

Late January

Allie likes to help Jon make the "green juice" and she is also the quality control as she doesn't let Jon put in pieces that are too big or the ends of the carrots!  We are enjoying our juicer and Jon has been doing really good at using all the vegetables in his crazy drink mixes!
Allie had her .01K fun run at school!  It was really funny to watch!  She was actually first place in her class but she knocked out a boy because she was running so fast!! (can you tell that I did not have time to get myself ready that morning?)!!!
Ms. Judy's class doing their warm ups!
And since she is still in two different classes she had another fun run the next day!

Ms. Roxanne and Ms. Kacey's class ( almost all boys in that class)

Jan-April is birthday season among our friends!  It seems like everyone of Allie's friends were born during one of this months.  Claire's party was first and it was gymnastics and unfortunately I did not get any pictures because I had Kyle with me.  But this is a cute one for her and Laney.
This picture is of Kyle but looks exactly like my brother did when he was little!
Not even 3 months and he is already outgrowing his socks!!  These are 6-12 month ones!!!  HUGE feet!
Allie has been in MDO for all 5 days since I was on bed rest and then Kyle being a newborn, but now we will be taking her out of her Monday, Friday class.  When I picked her up from her last day I found her "teaching" the boys how to write.  Turns out she has a special friend in this class and I never knew it!  Corbin is such a sweet little guy and they played so well together.  She is going to miss him!
At gymnastics they were practicing falling backwards and Allie LOVED it!  This girl has NO fear!
Kyle is starting to hit the toys now!
First time in the gumbo- I think he likes it!  Notice in almost every picture of him some body part is blurry... he is constantly wiggling!!!!!!
 Getting an old man hairdo!
"Do I  really have to smile for this picture??"
Another birthday party!  This time it is Laney's!  This is Allie and Claire bowling!

 Happy Birthday Laney!
We are starting to get out more!  Our Friday fun group no longer meets which is really sad, but everyone has more kids now and different schedules. But our neighborhood has  great mom's group and so we joined Allison on Friday to  the town center  for fun at the toy store and lunch out.  Of course, the kids wanted to run around the fountain!
Kyle has gone to church two times now!  I forgot to get a picture of the first time, but this is his 2nd time.

He looks like a sweet angel!  And to me he is definitely a gift from God and we are SOOOO thankful for him!
We had a Superbowl party at the Stellings with all the kiddos.  I did not get many pictures but it was fun getting out and seeing everyone!  So thankful for our friends!
