Later that night, we had our Sunday school Christmas party.
Lindsey, Allie, and Meagan. Allie looks like she is trying to escape, but actually she was having fun sitting there with her friends.
Saturday, we went to Houston's First Baptist for their CandyCane Lane celebration. WE meet up with Priscilla and Savannah (and hubby Lincoln and new baby Charlotte)
Allie got to ride another train and she loved it.
They had a live nativity with a Camel and Allie liked seeing baby Jesus!
And Yet another PONY ride! She will be a pro pretty soon!
She went to every animal to pet it and make it's sound- she loves saying "bach bach bach" (instead of cluck cluck for the chickens!)
They had a fun backdrop to take pictures! She also got to go on the bouncy houses and a REALLY big slide that we had to carry her up it- but she LOVED it and we did it several times! We decorated cookies, watched a puppet show, played on the playground and ate lunch. It was a really neat event and it was not too crowded so we could actually do a lot of things!
Sunday night, my nieces; Julia and Amanda stayed the night and we went to the REALLY BIG Christmas show at Second Baptist.Allie in her pretty Cinderella dress that Lindsay gave us
You can see on the side of the picture the two acrobats doing crazy things hanging from the ribbon from the ceiling! They do an outstanding job every year and I like having this as part of our tradition with Allie. She sat SO still for almost the entire show. She would clap and say "Yea" after each song and really, really enjoyed it! We were on the third balcony way up high!
Julia, Amanda, my mom and dad
That night, Julia tried to read to Allie before bed, but as you can see, Allie was not happy. Julia is such a little momma and did a great job helping out. They both were a lot of fun to have over and Allie loved all the attention!
In the morning we made pigs in blankets and Amanda cut the biscuits, Allie put the cheese on the sausage and Julia wrapped them up. Allie was so excited to help and did a great job!
2nd year to make Ginger Bread houses.
They look great! Each year, they get fancier!
We have definitely been busy with holiday things and it has helped to keep us not too sad.
