4th of July parade

Allie's new favorite thing is to try to "walk" Ralph with his leash. He, however, is not too keen on the whole idea and is usually pretty stubborn and as you can see Allie doesn't like that~! I love the crossing the arms thing!

We watched the 4th of July parade on Saturday morning and Allie did great considering it was her first time and it was very loud! The best thing about living in Bellaire is that it is a small city within the huge city of Houston and we only had to go a couple streets over to watch the parade and the festival.

She finally had a smile on her face when she saw the Chick Fil A cow although you can't tell here! (my first time to get pig tails in her hair for more than 5 minutes!)

Everybody was throwing candy and stuff as they went and as you can see Allie enjoyed all her goodies!

After the parade, we went to the festival where they had fun thing s to do like a petting zoo and blow up toys. It was nice and windy and overcast for the parade( 4 days of rain beforehand), but the sun came out and things got HOT FAST! we got some hot dogs for lunch and headed home to go swim for a bit.

On the 4th, we went to My brother and sister in law's house for dinner and it was fun getting to see everyone! Allie enjoyed playing with her cousins and got lots of "new"stuffed animals from them that they were getting rid of. She LOVES her animals and dolls now and carries them everywhere! I forgot to take pictures though.. No fireworks for us this year...
