I realize it has been almost 6 weeks since I updated this! I guess my time has slipped away! There are definitely some fun times with Allie Keegan these days. She is super strong and loves to play "sit up and down" using her arms and now she goes straight to standing up! We decided on Keegan for part of her name because it means "strong and fiery" and she was always kicking me while I was pregnant. But she is already living up to one part of that meaning! She also learned how to hit the rattle on the play area this weekend. She is very content just lying there hitting it! She also smiles and babbles and makes all sorts of talking noises! For the most part she is sleeping from 9-6 and loves to have a routine! I measured her eyelashes today and they are 1/2 inch long! I am not sure where she got those from, but I love them!
Question for the moms out there... We are really considering moving and I was wondering if there was anything specific about a house that you would recommend we look for. We don't really know how life is going to be with little kids, so we are not too sure on what is really important.
I will try to be better at updating this more. :o)

From my perspective, look for other young stay at home moms in the neighborhood. We didn't think about that when we moved in here and most of the moms in my neighborhood work so there's not much socialization for me (or the kids). Also, check the traffic of the street. I would pick a cul-de-sac if I had to do it all over again or at least not a main access road.
A cul-de-sac for sure! The kids want to ride their bikes and stuff and I feel so safe not on the main street. I would also say a game room or play room...the toys could take over your house, but having them all in a game room makes it more manageable.
I'm agreeing with Lindsey & the Smiths, cul de sac, gameroom, and a street with lots of kids. It's not a must right now, but when she's 2 and older you'll want to be outside with her, and having other kids there for her to play with is awesome! Another thing to consider is a good school district. There's a website that ranks school districts, I'm not sure what it is, but if you typed it in I'm sure it'd come up.
