Birthday and Life Tributes

M.E.N.D. does a bi-monthly newsletter and you can put a birthday tribute in it for your baby(ies).  Below is the one I did for Michael and Jake.  You can also click on the link below to see the entire newsletter.  This past one was on birthday traditions and was really very touching!

Thank you also SO much Mom and Dad and Priscilla and Lincoln Goodwin for your generous donation made in honor of Michael and Jake!  We really appreciate it and it will help to reach so many other families who are going through this hard time.

In September, my parents went to Baraga, MI. where my mom grew up and most of her family still lives.    My Grandparents have land up there with cabins and because they have both passed on into Heaven; there is also a small cemetery there as well. My uncle and his wife have also passed.  My mom had my Grandparent's headstone made and she also had one made for Michael and Jake.  Everyone has been cremated, so it is really just a special place to remember them.  Here is what it looked like last spring (yes, spring) with the wooden crosses (now there are headstones).

The headstones are not very large, but my mom did a great job designing them!  She used our Memorial service handout as the template (and it is their actual footprints).
